This bulk pack of five 1/4"-20 to Hot Shoe Adapters goes way beyond being just simply handy...  Here at the Nasty Clamps World Domination Headquarters, these adapters are pretty much considered a necessity when doing photography or videography work, as they allow just about any sort of audio, lighting, and/or camera gear with a hot shoe foot to be mounted onto a standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw.

One of the really great features that's been incorporated into this adapter is that the middle section has a slightly dropped down "divot" or channel running through it, which helps prevent the triggering electronics found in the feet of most portable strobes from shorting out on the metal of the adapter.  

Please understand, these adapters do not communicate any sort of electronic information between your strobes and your camera (you'd need something like an optical slave or a set of Pocket Wizards to do that).  Technically, these should really be referred to as "Cold Shoe Adapters," though hardly anyone uses that phrase anymore.
