Returns Policy (i.e.: what if I don't like my Nasty Clamp?):
The basic Nasty policy is pretty simple... If you've purchased a single Nasty Clamp from us within the past 30 days and find that it's just not working out the way that you'd thought, just send it back and we'll refund your money (minus the shipping and handling fees). Please note that this offer is only valid within the United States and Canada, because international shipping and customs can be a total pain in the butt when dealing with returns, currency exchange, and paperwork.
Unfortunately, the not-so-basic Nasty policy is not so simple... If you've purchased a set of multiple Nasty Clamps from us (i.e.: the three-pack and/or the five pack) and find that you're not using them as much as you thought, well, this is where we at the Nasty Clamps World Domination Headquarters do get a lil' bit persnickety. You can send back one of the clamps, and we'll refund the price of that single clamp (again, minus the shipping and handling fee), but we won't refund the price of an entire package. Why? Well, partially because we're Nasty, but also because we believe that our product is really quite useful. If you've taken the plunge and ordered a set of multiple Nasty Clamps, then the chances are good that you're a working professional in the audio, video, photo, lighting, design, and/or media world. Just keep some of those Nasties is your gear bag -- pull them out when you need to do a bit of on-set/on-location problem solving -- and pretty soon you'll be using them on a regular basis.
Soooooooooo... As a quick review: Sending back a single clamp for a refund is easy. Sending back multiple clamps is not so easy and not really allowed (because we're Nasty). Offer valid in the United States and Canada only. Please adhere to the 30 days return policy.
Warranties:
Nasty Clamps are really well made... REALLY well made. On the other hand, like all well made products, normal usage will create some wear, tear, and damage. If you find that -- within six months of purchase -- that your Nasty Clamp has somehow become unworkable due to normal usage, then just send the clamp back and we'll send you a new one. Please understand that the phrase "normal usage" is a bit ambiguous, and that we (at the Nasty Clamps World Dominations Headquarters) do ask you (the Nasty customer) to apply some common sense to the concept of "normal usage." In other words, don't send your clamp back to us after you've mounted it onto the top of a barbecue grill and melted all the plastic parts. Again, use your common sense.
Shipping:
We can ship -- and have shipped -- Nasty Clamps all over the world. Here in the United States, Nasty Clamps and accessories are sent out via U.S. First Class Mail or U.S. Priority Mail (depending on the size and weight of the package), and most orders arrive within two to four business days.
International shipments are (as might be expected) more expensive AND do take longer than U.S. domestic shipments, though it's pretty amazing just how quickly our clamps have made it over to such far away places (relatively speaking) as Australia, Indonesia, and South Africa. All international shipments are sent out from the Nasty Clamps World Domination Headquarters via International First Class Mail, though -- once they leave the United States -- are handled by that receiving country's postal system.
Most international shipments take between eight and fifteen business days to make it from the United States to whatever receiving country and address is the final destination. Ironically, shipments to Canada (located right smack dab next to the United States) are the shipments which often take the longest.
Please note that there are certain countries where shipping restrictions have been placed on products leaving the United States (e.g.: Cuba and North Korea), and there are also a few locations on this planet where it's just not worth the hassle of sending our Nasty products out, all due to customs issues, crazy postal regulations, political uprisings, etc, etc... The shopping cart on this website has a built in database of countries and locations where shipping is just a pain in the butt, and orders coming in from those "pain in the butt" locations will not be completed or allowed to go through the full check-out process.
